Certification

Exam & Certification

The SAFe Devops (SDP) training is a two-day course (8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., including lunch) and is held by one or two of our SAFe Practice Consultants (SPCs). In addition to the training sessions, our consultants are also active in the field, and have a lot of experience in implementing SAFe within large organizations.

Completed the training and passed the exam? You're a certified SDP! You will receive:

  • Official SAFe® DevOps Practitioner (SDP) certificate

  • Digital badge of the certificate (to share & promote online)

  • Access to a variety of learning resources and Meetup groups to support certified professionals during their SAFe journey

The Scaled Agile Academy will update your profile as soon as you pass the exam. From then on, you will have access to the private, online community and the possibility to make your profile public within the Scaled Agile community. Until that moment, only you have the privilege to see your certification.


Exam details

  • Exam name: SAFe DevOps (SDP)
  • Format: Multiple choice questions, Multiple select
  • Exam delivery: Web-based, closed book, no outside assistance, timed
  • Access to exam: Candidates will receive acces to the exam on the SAFe Learning Platform after completing the course
  • Duration: Once the exam has started, the candidate has 90 minutes to complete the exam.
  • Number of questions: 45
  • Passing score: 73% correct
  • Language: English
  • Exam cost: The first two attempts are included in your course registration fee, if taken within 60 days of course completion.
  • Retake policy: Additional attempts are available for a fee. For more information about the retake policy and exam, please consult the Exam Study Guide here.

Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs)

Attending this course means that you may be eligible to apply for 15 Continuing Education – Strategic PDUs toward your continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP and PMI-ACP certifications. You may also be eligible to apply for SEUs under category C, toward earning or renewing your CSP through Scrum Alliance.
