Yulia is a 20-year old Marketing Intern with Gladwell Academy. She is originally from Ukraine. Almost 4 years ago, she moved to the Netherlands to study Creative Business at NHL Stenden, in Leeuwarden. Her course combines the fields of Media, Marketing, and Management. It gave her a lot of experience in marketing, content development, digital promotion, the process of professional video production (including the pre-planning and post-editing phases), and journalism. In her free time, Yulia also likes to be involved in extra-curricular activities and volunteerism. She has organized several events, such as helping at the festival and winter ball organized by the local authorities in Leeuwarden. That’s why for her minor, she’s chosen to follow an Events, Marketing, and Tourism program. It gave her more insights and practice as a marketer and event organizer. During the summer vacations, she applied her skills in practice and worked for a Ukrainian company as a marketer, where she was busy with SEO, marketing planning, and concept and content development for Instagram. As a person, Yulia is communicative, open-minded, very active, a fast learner, and funny in a sociable way. She can fluently speak three languages: English, Ukrainian, and Russian. She also found how to apply this knowledge within her work environment. Working at the previously mentioned Ukrainian company, she was responsible for translating documents, communicating with the foreign partners, and for two years in a row, attending an event in Frankfurt together with the company directory, where she was interpreting and making sure that the communication was smooth, professional, and informative. Yulia is an independent thinker with high ambitions. She is never one to give up something she has started, as she likes to see things through to the very end. Her colleagues would also describe Yulia as empathetic, kind, and always willing to help.
