Stephan Vlieland is a trainer at Gladwell Academy.
Stephan is a passionate consultant with more than seventeen years of working experience in software development, fulfilling almost every conceivable role. Throughout his career, he has coached and mentored more than fifty product teams and their respective leadership in international settings.
Stephan has had the luxury of assisting and guiding some of the Dutch larger corporates on their Agile transformation, acting as consultant to leadership and a coach for teams and individuals. Schooled and versed in many coaching styles, among which he holds the style of ‘provocative coaching’. Stephan approaches change holistically, provoking a transformation in the organization’s operating model, ecosystem and critical human behavior.
As a licensed Scrum.org trainer, he delivers the Professional Scrum Master course (PSM-I), and the Professional Scrum with Kanban course (PSK-I). He is specialized in Scrum Mastery, Advanced Team Dynamics, Product Development and is an accredited Solution Oriented Coach, aligned with NOBCO (Dutch Order of Professional Coaches).
When he’s not
coaching teams during the weekdays, he tends to actually coach teams on the
weekend. As an accredited "Youth Soccer Coach" at the Royal Dutch
Soccer Association (KNVB), Stephan acts as coach and trainer of his eldest son’s
soccer team.
