He explains how the setup of LACE and Lean Portfolio Management supports this next step, helping the organisation create more clarity around value streams, customer value and portfolio-level decision-making.

The conversation also focuses strongly on people and culture. For Simon, processes and tools are only useful when they support the people doing the work. Real transformation starts with creating the right environment for trust, learning, bravery, feedback and better decision-making.
