Obeya Fundamentals training

The Obeya Fundamentals Training introduces participants to the core principles of the Obeya methodology, focusing on real-time communication, transparency, and teamwork. Participants learn to create and use Obeya rooms to improve decision-making and operational efficiency through visual management and continuous improvement practices.

The one-day Obeya Fundamentals course offers an immersive introduction to the Obeya methodology. Participants will explore the following outline:

• Why Obeya (Obeya purpose)

• Obeya Principles & Focus Scan
• Obeya Roles
• Design your Obeya
• Q&A + conclusion

By the end of the day, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of Obeya's purpose, principles, and practical implementation to drive organizational efficiency and collaboration.

Upon completion of the course and successful passing of the consecutive examination, the participant will be able to reproduce and identify:

• How continuous improvement and Obeya are linked throughout history

• The insight of when and why an Obeya can be successful

• The prerequisites for effective Obeya practice The 4 quadrants and The 11 Principles that define an Obeya

• The different roles participating in an Obeya and their application

• Basic understanding of visual management setups in an Obeya

• Basic Obeya meeting rhythms and routines

• Basics of an Obeya performance dialogue

Obeya Foundations Exam & Certificate:

• To receive the official Obeya Fundamentals Certificate, you need to complete the Obeya Fundamentals exam.

• After completion of the training course, you can choose a time to do the exam yourself.

• You will receive a one-year free membership to the Obeya Association Community.

• Completing the Obeya Builder exam prepares individuals for more advanced certifications, such as the Obeya Builder or Obeya Host.

Whether you're new to Obeya or aiming to deepen your understanding, this course provides comprehensive insights into its principles and applications.
