Junior Account Manager – Benelux

Your impact

This position accounts for approximately 20% of our business. This makes your role within our organization crucial as you will generate leads which will be responsible for 20% of our revenue. Not only will you be responsible for generating leads, but you are also responsible for the sales of our open enrolment trainings as well as achieving the set sales targets of our training portfolio. In this role you will report directly to our CEO while also remaining in close contact with our Head of Marketing to improve our Sales proposals.

As our new Junior Account Manager, you’re a key player in the further development and growth of Gladwell Academy. Some of your tasks will include:

  • Responsible for forecasting, status-updates and business flow;
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails;
  • Close sales deals and achieve quotas;
  • Informing about our trainings offered and assisting in discussing learning paths with potential prospects;
  • Handling information requests, brochure requests from potential prospects and arranging for a follow-up;
  • Researching accounts, identifying key players, generating interest;
  • Having a good understanding of customer needs and requirements;
  • Proactively ensuring turnover with existing and new customers;
  • Accurately recording customer data, interview reports and follow-up actions in our CRM system;
  • Answering training questions and conducting advisory discussions;
  • Working in close collaboration with the Marketing team, providing sales feedback and sharing growth opportunities.

Who are you?

You bring 1 year of experience as an Account Manager. In addition, our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor or Masters education;
  • Fluent in Dutch & English;
  • Experience in B2B sales;
  • Strong phone presence
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to quickly adjust and adapt to the circumstances;
  • Customer oriented;
  • Excellent management skills and ability to prioritize tasks according to their urgency;
  • An independent and proactive work attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow and succeed;
  • You are always looking for new ways to develop our portfolio;
  • Experience in managing CRM HubSpot is a plus;
  • Available for minimum 32 to maximum 40 hours a week.
