Kanban System Design is the systems thinking approach for collaboratively designing a Kanban System that best captures your current way-of-working and provides you with the initial set of tools, metrics and controls to start your continuous improvement process and improve service delivery agility in a very short time.

Learning Goals

  • Basics, motivation and benefits of the Kanban Method.
  • Kanban practices and principles with the Service Orientation agenda.
  • Core Kanban concept of Pull with its effects and how Pull-Systems can be modeled.
  • STATIK Method to design service-oriented Kanban systems.
  • Insights from STATIK and suitable patterns to design a Kanban board that closely models the workflow, item types, classes of service and other elements at hand.

Certification

No Exam. Required two days of training attendance and certificate will be enabled post completion of this course

Surya is a enterprise Agile Transformation Coach and Management Consultant with more than 16 years of experience - training and transforming teams from Waterfall to Agile. He has trained more than 2000+ professionals on various Agile frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban and LeSS. He is expertised in delivering Kanban Training with practical simulations using the Okaloa Flowlab tool

Also, he is a SAFe Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, trained over 500+ professionals in SAFe (Leading SAFe, SAFe for Teams, SAFe POPM, RTE, SAFe SM, SAFe Advanced SM, LPM).
He has successfully handled Multiple SAFe Transformations and enabled customers in achieving Business Agility and facilitated Value Stream Identification workshops and helped in defining and launch of Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
